
Paul Sloate is the CEO and a Founding Partner of WSL Family Office & Private Wealth Management. Paul has extensive experience advising entrepreneurs, high net worth, and ultra-high net worth families as well as overseeing public and private investments.
Paul is a seasoned advisor with extensive experience in real estate, technology, manufacturing, retail, distribution, and consumer facing industries. He previously served in senior level positions with Wellington Management and BlackRock Financial Management where he was involved in overseeing multi-billion-dollar pools of capital.
Paul’s experience, from investments in numerous private and public companies, provides a unique vantage point on the reality of global competition, technology change, and risk. This creates valuable insights and perspective to support entrepreneurs and families, as they manage their businesses and assets for the long term.
Paul attended Cornell University where he earned an AB, Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa. He also earned an MBA with Distinction from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Paul currently serves as a Director of a private company and supports numerous charities.

Andy Watson is the President and a Founding Partner of WSL Family Office & Private Wealth Management. He has extensive experience that extends across high-net-worth families, entrepreneurs and corporate and investment banking.
Andy is a seasoned turn-around CEO and advisor with extensive experience in private equity, hospitality, and real estate. He previously served as CEO of a global holding company in the Middle East, with over US$32 billion under management. During his tenure Andy was an active board member for portfolio companies including Cirque du Soleil, Barneys New York, and Kerzner Hospitality. Prior to this, Andy had a successful 20-year career in corporate and investment banking based in London.
Andy’s experience managing investments in multiple industries in both domestic and international markets provide him with valuable perspectives to support families as they manage their businesses and assets. He is a dedicated proponent of empowering families to become successful guardians of their wealth.
Andy holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology in the UK. He currently serves on several corporate boards and supports numerous charities.

Mani Sabapathi is Chief Investment Officer and Partner at WSL Family Office and Private Wealth Management. With over 30 years of professional investing experience, Mani is a seasoned investor renowned for his innovative approach to analyzing investment opportunities. Mani combines strong analytic and modeling skills with a deep passion for investing. His creative problem-solving abilities have consistently driven superior performance throughout his career.
Mani’s extensive background encompasses a rich portfolio of expertise over a 27-year tenure at Prudential (PGIM). During his tenure, he effectively utilized Value at Risk (VaR) methodologies to assess insurance risk, manage subprime mortgage portfolios during the Great Financial Crisis, and oversee Global Bond Funds and Volatility Strategies. His strong quantitative background and risk-oriented mindset have enabled him to achieve exceptional investment results across a variety of asset classes.
During his distinguished career at PGIM, Mani held several senior roles, including Senior Portfolio Manager for Global Bond Funds. He was responsible for asset allocation and risk management, overseeing more than $30 billion in assets. Moreover, Mani led the development of volatility strategies across multiple asset classes, successfully integrating volatility as an independent source of alpha across numerous investment mandates representing over $100 billion in assets under management. His expertise also extended to serving on the Board of Directors of the American Securitization Forum from 2006 to 2012 and serving as Senior Global Strategist across PGIM’s Fixed Income Portfolios from 2012 to 2015.
Mani’s academic credentials include earning a Master of Science in Engineering (M.S.E.) in Computer and Information Science with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence, as well as a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.S.) in Systems Engineering with a focus on Robotics from the University of Pennsylvania School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. He also holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Economics, concentrating in Finance and Actuarial Science, from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
